maintaining a "positive" image

Having good, presentable image is very important. It gives others a peak into what your character is like even before you open your mouth.

Earlier today, I was approached by a man who was trying to sell me something. Being the curious guy I am, I decide to stop a while and listen to what he had to say. But when he approached close enough, I realized that even with his neatly-pressed, white shirt, he looked scruffy. His facial hair was not neatly kept. I wasn't sure if it was intentional, but it sure was untidy. The guy didn't last three seconds.
